There will be a graveside memorial service held for Mrs. Staveley on Saturday April 6th at 4pm. We have held this simple ceremony every year for 28 years, and as usual all are welcome to attend.

This year after the memorial at the graveside you are invited to join us for a reception in the barn to celebrate the release of The Plan is Good, selected writings of Annie Lou Staveley. Each writing offers a unique inside view of the immense depth of her understanding, and her method of transmitting it through the written word. Copies will be available for purchase.

We will have a toast, and encourage people to share personal recollections of their time with Mrs. Staveley. And though many at the Farm today did not know her we all benefit from what she brought.

As Cynthia Bourgeault says in her tribute to the book, ‘I never had the privilege of meeting Annie Lou Staveley personally, but this collection is surely the next best thing to it . . .

Please, all come to hear stories about her, and listen to readings from The Plan is Good. Let’s celebrate together the first 50 years of Two Rivers Farm, as we look forward to the next 50.
